Music often creates images long before the first note is heard.
SVIDESIGN was honoured to create the complete visual identity for Sun and Moon, a collaborative album by Gergana Dimitrova, soloist of the Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices, and the internationally acclaimed artist Lisa Gerrard, best known as the iconic voice of Dead Can Dance and for her unforgettable film scores including Gladiator, Dune, The Insider, and Mission: Impossible 2.
Our work included the design of the main album cover together with the artwork for the two singles The Dance of the Birds and Jovano.
Rather than designing three individual covers, our intention was to build a coherent visual universe that naturally extends the atmosphere of the music itself. Mystery, nature, light, space, and emotion became the key visual elements connecting the entire project.
Each artwork combines real photography, digital collage, and meticulous post-production to create a timeless visual language that bridges ancient tradition with contemporary aesthetics while reflecting the emotional depth of the music.
